Here are some ayurvedic kadha recipes and Herbal Tea Recipes that are used by generations in Indian households to improve immunity.
The recipe may vary from state to state as each culture had different cuisine and taste.

Here are some home spices and herbs you can use:- Laung (cloves), Dalchini (cinnamon), Haldi (turmeric), Tulsi (holy basil), Elaichi (black cardamom), Gudh (jaggery), Honey, Adrak (ginger), Neem leaves, Ajwain (Carom seeds, Thymol seeds, Bishops weeds), etc.
So, let’s see how you can use these ingredients to make kadha and Herbal tea:-

This Homemade Kadha recipe is our mother’s special, it uses home spices that will improve our immunity.
1inch cinnamon stick (dalchini)
2-3 cloves (laung)
1/2-inch ginger (adrak)
4-5 black pepper (kaali mirch)
2-3 green cardamom (elaichi)
1 tablespoon jaggery (gudh)
Use 2 glass or 3 cups water, keep it to boil,
Now add cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom, black pepper.
Let it simmer for 3-5min
Now add ½ inch Ginger and let it boil,
You can add jaggery for sweet taste or let it sit for two min and then consume. or you can filter and drink immediately.
This Kadha is not enjoyable, but it will do wonders for your body when you set aside the taste factor.
1/2 -inch Raw Turmeric (haldi)
1/2 -inch Ginger (adrak)
1/2 -inch cinnamon stick (dalchini)
2 cup water.
Take a pot Add 1cup of water. boil for 2-3 min.
Add turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon stick.
Boil for 3-5 min.
Drink 2 times a day.
Fresh Lemongrass Tea
This Herbal Tea can be used as a refreshment instead of regular tea.
2-3 inches of lemongrass
Cinnamon sticks, (dalchini)
6 green cardamom buds (elaichi)
1/2-inch ginger (adrak)
2 cups water
1 teaspoon jaggery [gudh] (optional)
Substitution: – Instead of lemongrass, you can use Tulsi.
Take a pot
Add water & boil for 2-3 min.
Now add lemongrass, cinnamon, cardamom buds, Ginger, and boil it for 3-5 min.
Strain to drink and serve.
If you want to add jaggery from the top, don’t add it during the process.
